*A meme coin with a real origin transaction, a supply that cannot grow, and a card game attached. Here is what is verifiable, what is reported, and what nobody can tell you yet.*

---

Most tokens are impossible to research. The website makes claims, the Telegram makes bigger ones, and there is no way to check any of it without trusting someone.

$FUZZY is unusually checkable. Almost everything that matters about it is on the XRP Ledger, and you can read it yourself in about ten minutes.

So this page is not a pitch. It is the reference: what the token is, which claims hold up, which are reported, and what could go wrong.

---

## The short version

- $FUZZY is a **token issued on the XRP Ledger** — not its own blockchain
- **Supply is fixed at roughly 321 billion** and cannot increase, which is verifiable rather than promised
- The name traces to a **real 2014 transaction** that anyone can pull up
- The community predates the products: **four NFT collections and a printed trading card game** came out of it
- Holder counts and market cap are **reported figures**, not ledger reads
- It is still a meme coin, and it should be weighed as one

---

## Where the name comes from

On 1 January 2014, an account called FuzzyBear placed an order on the XRP Ledger's built-in exchange: **1 XRP, asking 1 BTC.**

It never filled. It was never going to. But it is a real transaction in ledger 4,191,772, it sat there for over a decade, and it is the seed of everything that followed.

That account was funded two hops from the ledger's genesis accounts, in February 2013, with 50,000 XRP. The balance today is about 54 XRP and it has been dormant for eleven years.

The full story — the funding chain, the timestamps, the accounts — is in [The Bear That Never Left the XRP Ledger](https://www.everythingfuzzy.com/the-bear-that-never-left/). This page is about the token that came after.

## What the token actually is

$FUZZY is an **issued token** on the XRP Ledger. That distinction matters more than people assume.

It does not have its own chain, its own validators, or its own security model. It exists as a balance on trust lines within the XRPL, secured by the XRPL's consensus. To hold it you open a trust line to the issuing account; to trade it you use the ledger's native DEX or AMM.

Practically, that means it inherits the ledger's properties: settlement in three to five seconds, fees in fractions of a cent, and a public record of every transaction. It also means it inherits the ledger's limits — no smart contracts in the Ethereum sense, and no independent existence apart from the XRPL.

**The issuer is `rhCAT4hRdi2Y9puNdkpMzxrdKa5wkppR62`**, created 23 January 2025, with a verified domain of fuzzyxrp.com.

## The one fact worth checking yourself

The issuing account has **the master key disabled.**

In plain terms: **no new $FUZZY can ever be minted.** Not by the team, not by anyone. The ability was switched off at the protocol level, and it is not reversible.

Total issued sits at **320,929,807,851** against a stated 321 billion — roughly 70 million already retired.

This is the difference between a supply *promise* and a supply *fact*. Most tokens ask you to trust that the team won't mint more. Here the capability is gone, and you can confirm it in one page load: open [the issuer on XRPScan](https://xrpscan.com/token/46555A5A59000000000000000000000000000000.rhCAT4hRdi2Y9puNdkpMzxrdKa5wkppR62?ref=everythingfuzzy.com) and look at the account flags.

If you check one thing about $FUZZY, check that.

## What the community actually built

This is the part that separates $FUZZY from most meme coins, and it is worth being specific rather than gushing.

**Four NFT collections**, the largest being Fuzzybears at 3,210 items across roughly 680 holders, with about 2.4 million XRP in lifetime volume. A companion collection, sraebyzzuF — Fuzzybears backwards — runs 1,220 items.

**A printed trading card game.** The Fuzzycards Genesis Collection is a real 150-card set: 110 Heroes, 20 Relics and 20 Events across five Forces, with holo treatments and rarity tiers, registered for grading with CGC, PCA and TAG. It is manufactured, boxed, and sitting in game stores.

Note the direction of travel. The collectors existed **before** the cards were printed — the audience commissioned the product, rather than a product hunting for an audience. That is unusual, and it is the single most interesting structural fact about this project.

There is a numerical in-joke running through it, if you like that sort of thing: the token supply is 321 billion and the flagship NFT collection is 3,210 items.

## The David Schwartz trust line — and what it doesn't mean

In May 2026, an account publicly known to belong to **David Schwartz**, the XRP Ledger's chief architect, set a trust line to the $FUZZY issuer for essentially the full supply.

It is a real transaction and you can read it: `2609E77B5A0D24B87CE2804801A68CC0DFE14B7AE40572403DDB9BC33A978089`, ledger 103,971,664.

**Now the part most coverage leaves out.** A trust line means an account is *willing to hold* a token. It does not prove the account holds any. It is not an endorsement, it is not an investment, and it is not a signal about price. People set trust lines for all sorts of reasons, including curiosity.

It is a genuinely interesting data point about visibility. It is not the thing it gets presented as.

---

## The numbers that are reported, not verified

These come from the project and from marketplaces. They are probably roughly right. They are not ledger reads, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

**Roughly 10,930 token holders** and a market capitalisation around **$14.3 million**, both as of 13 August 2026\. NFT floors, holder counts and volumes all come from xrp.cafe and move constantly.

Anywhere you see those figures quoted as hard facts — including on this site — treat the date attached to them as part of the claim.

---

## What could go wrong

A page that only lists strengths isn't a reference, it's an advertisement.

**It is a meme coin.** Fixed supply and a good story do not create demand. Most tokens in this category go to nearly nothing, and being on a better ledger does not exempt one from that.

**The products are early.** The card game has a finished print run and shelf presence measured in a handful of stores. Whether a durable collector market forms around it is genuinely unknown — as of mid-August 2026 there were **zero completed eBay sales** for Fuzzycards of any kind, because the physical product is only months old.

**Concentration is unmeasured here.** This page does not tell you how supply is distributed across those \~10,930 holders, and distribution matters enormously for a token this size. If that question matters to your decision, go read the ledger.

**None of it is financial advice**, and understanding how something works tells you nothing about what it will be worth.

## Verify it yourself

Everything here reduces to four links.

You do not have to take my word for any of it. That is the entire point.

*Disclosure: I hold $FUZZY and Fuzzybear NFTs, and I distribute Fuzzycards to retailers and earn a commission on orders placed through me. That is exactly why this page separates what is verifiable from what is reported — you should be able to check every claim without trusting me.
